The Monsters’ Monster by Patrick McDonnell
We were browsing at a local bookstore, and even though it’s not even close to Halloween, this book caught my eye. The story is about three little monsters who decide to create their own big monster, but he isn’t quite what they expected, and they all end up eating jelly donuts while enjoying a sunset on the beach. Pre-schooler monkey giggles at this one every time, and it’s definitely a fun read aloud.
