Modern Family on ABC is easily one of the season’s best. The first episode was hands down hilarious. I don’t think there was one single character who didn’t make me laugh (and that includes the children). Basically the show follows the lives of 3 families: a married couple with three children, a gay couple with an adopted daughter, and a May-December couple (see above) with a son from the wife’s previous relationship. Each family has their own issues and struggles that are all relatable and highly hilarious. I suppose it’s possible the subsequent episodes will go downhill, but I don’t think it too likely. If you missed the first episode, it’s definitely worth watching online, not because you won’t understand what’s going on otherwise, but because it’s just that funny.
