I just watched Novaâs âFirst Flowerâ which, Iâll admit, did get a little boring. But the flowers they showed on the program were exquisite and this brief glimpse of the history of flowers made me want to learn more about paleobotany (and made wish I had a green thumb).
Take a look at this Rockâs peony (from the PBS website). Apparently many of the beautiful species of flowers that we enjoy can be traced to the mountains of western China.
