Yes, it’s another TV show related blog post. :) I’ve really been enjoying The Forsyte Saga on Netflix. Based on a series of novels by Nobel Prize winning author John Galsworthy, the miniseries follows the love affairs and scandals of a rich family in Victorian England. As the family grows, time passes and historical events affect the family. It’s pretty juicy and dramatic, though slightly predictable now and then.
According to reviews online, the miniseries isn’t very faithful to the novels, but it has made me wonder why I’ve never heard of them before. Has anyone read the books? What did you think?
