The List

So I was starting a blog about the TV shows that I watch and realized in horror that my list is very long. Too long to post on my blog without being embarrassed. I showed the list to James to see if he too thought it was too embarrassing to post and his response was, “Um. Yeah. Maybe if you delete the really embarrassing shows?”. There were only one or two that I deemed humiliating enough to delete, so that didn’t help. When did I start watching so much TV? It’s not like I don’t have anything better to do. Like type in my blog that only a few people read. Oh. Hmm. Awkward silence.

Well part of the list I made were of shows that I used to watch but don’t anymore. Maybe I’ll post that instead:

Shows I watched last season but stopped watching because I got bored: Heroes (bored after 1.5 seasons)
My Name is Earl (bored after 1.5 seasons), Pushing Daisies (bored after .5 seasons)

Shows I enjoyed last year but got canceled (in order of sadness): Traveler (I really really liked this one), Men in Trees, Cashmere Mafia, Journeyman, Big Shots, Miss Guided

Wow. Even that is a lot. Although, in my defense, I wasn’t watching ALL of those at the same time. Traveler, for example, was a rare summertime show. Actually, come to think of it, I do have a lot of shows that I tape but haven’t been watching very quickly. For example, I haven’t even watched Brothers & Sisters yet and it came on this Sunday. I know! Two days ago! Phew. I feel better. And Chuck from last week (!) I probably won’t watch until everything else is done for the season.

So since I’m feeling a little more brave, here are the shows that I actually do watch right away and sometimes even live: Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle, Ugly Betty. Hmm. Maybe James was right. Those should have gone on the too embarrassing to post list.
